Another step in my shooting career is done - today for the first time I've played the role of a model. It was pretty cool indeed, hence I was taking the shots by myself as well. It was a really hard improvisation. First I had to create a neutral white background, I used two bed sheeds that I've stick together with a tape and then stick to my living-room suite. I was happy when I finished it and started to undress myself (since I was planning to do some act shots), but the whole construction fell immediately down and I had to build it up again. Next step was improvising the tripod, since I don't have any. I had to put the camera on the table and use some thick books to get it higher and than use some exercise book to put it into desired angle. I was quite unhappy about my camera because of its focus - the angle was quite wide and didn't let me zoom as good as I wanted. Then I started to care about the light, but unfortunately I used the exposure compensation for little too much, so the shots are a bit darker than they should be. And of course the light was changing during the shooting because I didn't have any light source but the sun shining through the window and balcony door. But after a while I started to use the internal flash of my camera and the results were much better.
The shooting itself was pretty funny - I always had to turn the self-release on, quickly run and start posing and then get up and check the photo...

and then comb my hair, put on some lipstick & make-up again...

But I managed to do about 40 shots before it started to rain and the light has changed more dramatically then I wanted.
And another thing: not until checking the photos in the PC I didn't noticed the patterned curtains on my windows that were shined through the sunlight... so I had some nice flower-shaped shadows on my hips & everywhere... :-D Nice experience, I had to put it down: PUT THE CURTAINS AWAY BEFORE NEXT SHOOTING.
